Short Circuit Electronics Restoration is very proud of the service and quality we provide to each and every one of our clients, and we are confident you will be pleased with the restoration of your electronics. We take great pride in our business and want your experience to go as smoothly as possible. Below, are some answers to commonly asked questions.

Can I come to your facility and pickup electronics I need? Once we have completed the restoration of your electronics, you are welcome to come to our facility to pick up any items you need. If you cannot come to our facility, you can call us and we will deliver the requested electronics to you. We ask that you please give us 48hrs notice for requested items to be returned. Otherwise, we will store your items until your home is ready.

Does the process you use have any harmful chemicals? Our cleaning agents are all GREEN. This process is not harsh for your sensitive electronic items or the environment.

Will I be happy with the cleaning and restoration of my electronics? At Short Circuit Electronics Restoration, we process over 75 restoration jobs per year. We restore approximately 98% of the electronics we take in for restoration cleaning. If at any time you are not satisfied please contact one of our specialists and we will gladly come to you for an inspection.

What happens if an item does not restore to pre-loss condition? Any item that does not restore to pre-loss condition will be identified and placed on an itemized list and detailed pictures will be provided to your insurance company. The cost of restoration of said items will be removed from our final invoice.

How do we charge for the electronics restoration? Our prices are based on industry standard price list called Xactimate pricing. Xactimate lists the average price for various items in the State of New Mexico. These prices are for electronic services and are accepted by all insurance companies.

What is your inventory process? Our restoration specialists complete a detailed photo documentation and inventory on site prior to our teams picking up any of your electronics from your home or business. From there, we bring everything to our facility and provide pictures of your electronics on our online inventory system at which time a link will be sent to your email.

Will I lose any of my important information on my hard drives? Our restoration process is very intricate. If we are able to restore your computer and hard drive the data will be intact. Once your computers are delivered back, you will be able to plug them in and work as though nothing happened.

Do you offer a warranty? We do offer a 90 day warranty from the date of delivery.

Do you test my electronics prior to delivery? Yes, we test all electronics and appliances prior to storage. We complete testing at normal operating temperature for several hours to ensure there is no residual smoke odor or system issues.
